There is one morning each year when the sun rises directly inline with the New Brighton Pier in Christchurch, NZ. And, as you can imagine, on that morning the pier is littered with photographers all trying to take the same photo (the sun rising up from the end of the pier) and all getting in each others way. So I quickly abandoned any plan I had for that image and went looking for alternatives.

This is one of two images that have made it to the gallery from the exploration around pier from that morning. Have some fun and see if you can find the other one. It might surprise you. :-)
