Nape Nape Beach is a rugged and remote stretch of coastline located on the east coast of New Zealand's South Island, approximately 30-40 minutes south of Kaikōura.

It is renowned for its striking limestone and mudstone formations and deep gravel beach. With waves pounding in off the South Pacific Ocean it's not a place for swimming but, a spectacular place to experience.
