Avalanche Falls - Arthurs Pass

Avalanche Falls is a powerful and dramatic waterfall located in Arthur's Pass National Park on New Zealand's South Island. It is not a single, tall drop, but rather a spectacular cascade where the Avalanche Creek plunges and churns through a narrow, sheer-sided granite gorge.
The waterfall is a key highlight of the popular Avalanche Peak walking track (specifically the Scott's Track route). The viewing platform offers a stunning and safe vantage point to witness the raw force of the water as it thunders through the rocky chasm, especially after rain or during the spring snowmelt.
